i never really know what i should tell you guys. i guess i start what's up in my "photo" life. first of all i got myself a yashica t3. i know every photogeek needs to have a classy p&s camera, or at least shoot polaroid, because it's rare and expensive.
i got my t3 on a car boot sale for 1€, fair enough since i try to tell myself that i will not be able to sell all this crap i buy for good mony (like the 28/2 rokkor).
anyway. the most annoying thing on this t3 is, that you can't switch off the flash unless you put on the "night shot mode" or you shoot on daylight. i guess in summer you don't need to worry about.
but.. i think it will be a fine party camera since it's more compact than my konica off road 28. this week i went to hamburg and i saw the rené burri exhibition at flo peters gallery. you should go and see it. [link] i was sticking on the frames to see it. what a master!

in spring i have the plan to do a show myself, but so far nothing is definite. i was ask by a friend if i would like to join a group show of i think two painters and put a few prints in.
it will probably be in oxford or so. so far i have no idea what i want to print and present. since i don't want to see most of my pictures printed on a wall i want to do some more shots, maybe next week? don't know...

today i arrived home to celebrate christmas with my family. this year was rushing by so fast.

it's been quite long since i updated my journal or this site here. mainly because i was busy busy been finishing my thesis. i did take a few photographs but only boring stuff or weddings that i don't want to present here too much.
right now i'm a bit clueless with dA. what is up here - nothing at all. i don't really feel uploading new stuff to this page. i know lots of people are irritated by dA... i don't want to say too much, either you upload stuff or shut this place down. uploading new stuff and saying to quit is not an option.
for that reason i want to reanimate my old blog, or start a new one. it feels good right now and since i shot 17 rolls during my vacation i have lots of stuff to work with. so there will be no picasa. just to let you know.
all the money i saved for a new camera or a new lens is dissipated for the trip to formentera.

now i need to develop the rest of the film and scan the whole thing. i'll let you know.

btw. who is actually really reading this journal and is still watching this page?

i want to post a new journal entry to support a friend's band called PONY EMPIRE.
they recorded three songs and uploaded them on their myspace profile. i like the songs a lot and hope you support them too.
i will date the band in late september to take a few more photographs.
